Hillfarm Oils Case Study

Creating a range of retail product dressings using Hillfarm’s cold-pressed rapeseed oil.

The Brief

Hillfarm Oils are a Suffolk-based farm producing a range of high-quality rapeseed oil products. The oils are produced in their own facility with oilseed rape from their crops. They supply several independent and multi-retailers, and wanted to expand their range with flavour oils and vinaigrette style dressings.

We were trusted by Hillfarm Oils to develop a range of ten products with a manufacturing brief for each kitchen recipe. We conducted site visits with the chosen manufacturer to co-create scale-up recipes and oversee factory trials.

This was an end-to-end product development for retail project, from concept and range creation to a finished retail product ready for launch.
